-> Graduated his Medicine Degree from Maulana Azad Medical College New Delhi, after his 

     Covent Schooling from St Xavier’s Delhi

-> Did his Residency in Medicine and Surgery from Irwin Hospital New Delhi. Being a highly 

     qualified Medical professional with expertise in the fields of Allergy, Immunology, Chest 

     Diseases, Cosmetology and Aesthetics.

-> Armed with impeachable qualifications and perspicacious diagnostic abilities, has served the

     Society as Consultant in various Hospitals lending his expertise.

-> His proven curative skills, manifest while treating the patients afflicted with disorders related 

     to Pulmonology, have seen him being invited by leading Medical Colleges and Hospitals 

     alike, all over the Country, either to be an Emeritus Professor or Consultant Physician.

-> With the service to Society his sole motive, he is always willing to share his vast knowledge

     and rich experience not only with his peers but also the young aspiring Doctors making their 

     first steps in their profession.

-> Does nor restrict himself to treating patients alone, but shows avid interest, like that of a

     Society of Health London in the year 1976  and entitled him to use the designation MRSH –

     London, under her majesty the Queen of England

-> The International College of Angiology USA awarded him fellowship (FICA) in the year 1981

     and admitted him as a life member to the college.

-> The society for advanced studies in Medical Sciences and the Directorate of Management

     and Administrative Sciences awarded him the Doctorate certificate in Respiratory Medicine

     (Dc RM) in the year 1988.

-> Received the award of fellow of the Society for Advanced Studies in Medical Sciences after

     being thoroughly evaluated in the art and science of Respiratory Medicine in the year 1994

     Fellowship certificate was granted (FSASMS) ON 11th December 1994.

-> Was conferred upon the merit of EMINENT CITIZEN OF INDIA by the Association of College of

     Chest Physicians in recognition of excellence in the field of medicine in the year 1994 and was

     admitted as Life Member of ACCP.

-> The prestigious Harvard Medical School Boston USA bestowed on him an award of Medical

     Excellence in the field of Respiratory 

     Medicine (Clinical Chest Medicine) in the year 2008

-> He claimed his position in the Worlds “Who is Who” of men and women of distinction.

-> The President of India was pleased to appoint him as his Honorary Physician on 16th August

     2012

-> Received the glorious appointment as Emeritus Professor in the Department of Pulmonary

     Medicine, at SRM Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre- SRM University Chennai on

     19th October 2012.

-> The Degree of Doctor of Science (Honoris Causa) was conferred by the Chancellor, members

     of the Board of Management and Academic Council, in the 8th Convocation of SRM University

     on 28th December 2012. This honor was received from The President of India.

-> This honor was in appreciation of his outstanding achievements in the Medical fields of

     Allergy, Immunology, Chest Diseases, Cosmetology and Aesthetics and in recognition of his

     vision, dedication, devotion and contribution to the cause of improving health conditions of

     the people of India.

 

AWARDS IN RECOGINTION OF SERVICES TO SOCIETY.

-> Was awarded UDYOG GAURAV AWARD in 1992 by Shri Arjun Singh the then Honorable

     Minister of Human Resource Development in recognition of his outstanding services to society

     and excellence in the chosen field of activity. On the occasion of 7th National Seminar on Role

     of trade in India’s Economic development 24th June 1993 at New Delhi

-> The Indian Council of Management Executives bestowed the order of Merit as SAMAJ SHRI IN

     1992 in recognition of services rendered to public and also admitted him as a life member of

     ICME.

-> Was awarded HIND GAURAV AWARD IN 1993 by Shri Veerappa Moily the then Honorable

     Chief Minister of Karnataka in recognition of his outstanding services to the society. On the

     occasion of 11th National Seminar on Individual Achievements and Nation Building.

-> Was awarded UDYOG GAURAV AWARD in 1993 by Shri Rajesh Pilot the then Honorable Union

     Minister of State for Home Affairs in recognition of his outstanding services to the society,

     and excellence in his field of activity On the occasion of 8th National Seminar on Role of

     Corporate sector in National Growth and Prosperity 15th June 1994 at New Delhi

-> Was awarded GEM OF INDIA AWARD in 1993 by Shri Balram Jakhar the then Honorable

     Union Minister of Agriculture in recognition of his services to the society on the occasion of

     10th National Seminar on serving society through individual achievements 24th February 

     1994 at New Delhi.

-> Was awarded RASHTRIYA GAURAV AWARD in 1993 by Shri Balram Jakhar the then Honorable

     Union Minister of Agriculture for his laudable contribution towards the quake relief causes on

     the occasion of National Seminar on Individuals in the service of  society 24th February 1994

     at New Delhi.

-> Was awarded HONOUR by the then Chief Minister of Haryana in 1993 for valuable

     contribution towards society.
